What is the deal with New York Giants rookie Markus Kuhn?
The seventh-round selection from North Carolina State, a defensive tackle, missed rookie mini-camp due to a laceration on his leg. The story he told for that injury was that he was sliced by a knife protruding from a box while moving.
Now, Kuhn still is not practicing and it has nothing to do with his leg.
The 26-year-old from Germany has work visa issues, and cannot participate in any Giants on-field practices until those get straightened out.
"It should come in any day, but until then we have to wait because I can't work," Kuhn said. "It's so strange. It never happens, but it is what is."
Whatever it is certainly can't make head coach Tom Coughlin or defensive coordinator Perry Fewell happy. It sure would be nice to get the guy on the field and see if he is worth all the aggravation.
