This weekend is setting up to be a period of Some heavy rain and lingering showers. Some severe thunderstorms are not out of the question. We are still far enough out that you should not cancel out door plans , just have backups. But note The Severe Storms Forecast Office is expecting a squall line to head our way very late Saturday into early Sunday.
