JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --The major soaker is on the way. The models have reached consensus on one to two inch amounts with some locally heavier amounts depending on how many thunderstorms develop. These totals could at least make up our April rainfall defecit.
The heavier more widespread rain and thunderstorms arrives during the afternoon and evening and will not taper off until Sunday morning.
