The last of my Spring Sacraments Gift Guides is for Catholic wedding gifts. Since weddings happen all throughout the year, I hope this list will be something that you can go back to for inspiration any time.
Practical wedding gifts for setting up a household are always a great choice, and so is buying from the couple's registry. However, it is also can be very meaningful to give a spiritually-based item to help the couple start their marriage right. In this gift guide, I tried to find religious items that would also be practical to have around and that would not be too dependent on a particular couple's tastes. These gifts range in price from $9.95-$89.95.
A great idea for a newly-married couple that would nourish both body and soul is a Catholic cookbook! Adoremus Books has a nice selection of cookbooks, including some I had not seen. One that my family has used over many years is A Continual Feast by Evelyn Vitz, which they carry for $19.95. It includes many recipes and traditions for throughout the church year and the life of a family.
Cooking for Christ: the liturgical year in the kitchen
is also the name of a beloved Catholic cookbook that is out of a print, but is still available used on Amazon.
A gift that will never go out of style is God's Word! This Catholic Family Bible
is $89.95 from The Catholic Company, but this is an heirloom that could be passed down to multiple generations. It includes a 16 page family record section.
An icon, especially with a subject like the Wedding Feast at Cana is a beautiful memento of their special day. Prices start at $9.95 for this one from Monastery Icons.
A unique and uplifting gift would be book or movie concerning Christian marriage. The Jeweller's Shop
is the movie based on Pope John Paul II's play, and it is available for $17.10 from Amazon.
When my husband and I were engaged, one of the best books that we read was Fulton's Sheen's
Three to Get Married
, which is available for Kindle for $7.95 or from other sellers on Amazon.

Finally, if you would really like to give the couple something practical for their home but also want to inspire them, DaySpring
probably has your answer! This company has tons of pretty home decor items that all include Scripture.
For a newly married couple, I really like this Bless Us Oh Lord... - 11" Glass Serving Plate
for that is on sale for $19.49 (was $26).
